An itchy, flaking scalp is very annoying and aggravating. Besides dealing with visible scaling and flakes, a chronic itch distracts our lifestyle and can bring some pretty curious looks. In more severe cases, when left unchecked, an inflammation due to scratching can lead to infection and localized hair loss. Itchy scalp can be the result of several factors such as dryness, excessive oil, bacteria and scalp fungus, or the onset of scalp diseases like psoriasis or dermatitis. Most common symptoms are yellow or white flakes, chronic itchiness, and temporary thinning at the affected area.
Some causes of inflammation and infection may be trapped dirt and oil clog follicle pores. Though often confused with dandruff, symptoms are inherently benign and can be effectively treated with a clarifying shampoo that targets oil control. Emu oil, zinc PCA, peppermint or menthol are the three active ingredient that a shampoo should have to be able to treat fungus in the scalp.
I took the advice of a good friend of mine and started using this product for my facial skin care. Boy, have I been pleasantly surprised after using it only for a short time. My friend looked great and I wanted to give myself the same chance to benefit from this product, too! My skin has never looked better even if I am in my 60’s. Anyway, I am enjoying a smoother complexion with a lot less wrinkles. In fact, my skin looks so much younger than it did and I haven’t had a skin peel, botox, or any surgical procedure. I have bought a product that I can comfortably afford and that is very important in today’s economy.
